So, seriously, what the fuck's up with dA's admins?

First off, people keep harassing me, reporting images of mine that "need mature content tags"...FOR PANTY SHOTS!!! Like, are you for real? Even the most popular artists don't need mature tags for pictures with nipples hanging out. Because these people are only trying to harass me.



This is the picture that's been reported most recently. Check it out (if you can) and tell me what you think about its mature tag. It was reported because she was "underaged" and it showed a panty shot (she is NOT underaged, I never stated her age, she was just drawn in a younger-looking style. Is there something wrong with trying new styles?).

They need to seriously make some new guidelines for their admins (well, either that, or pick NEW admins, because I think it's been made quite clear by now that the ones we have now SUCK!). They put tags on pictures that don't need them and delete pictures that have no right to be deleted simpy because it makes the person who reported it happier. What about the artists who've spent serious hard effort on their art, and it gets deleted because it was "mature" or "stolen"? Is that fair to them?

I'll admit, to retaliate, I reported one of the spammer's pictures as needing a mature tag because the picture was so ugly it hurt my eyes (it was a scribble on Paint, and honestly in no way innappropriate), AND THEY DELETED IT! Really, dA?!? It seems to me like they're more worried about resolving issues than being fair and looking at things in an artistic way.

Unfortunately, one of dA's biggest flaws for artists is that there's no way of contacting dA directly and letting them know when they're being spammed or harassed. I honestly think dA needs to include a link on everyone's page allowing someone to report their account to dA. When there are accounts made simply for spamming or stealing art, the only thing we can do is report images they've uploaded. Unfortunately, a lot of the spammers don't upload images, so it's impossible to alert dA of their actions.

That's the one thing dA really needs to fix about the site (well, two, if you include administration). They're updating the site layout and adding new things all the time, so why haven't they addressed this issue yet?
